- Starts outside club/bar, walks in as two performers are finishing off their song.
- Walks up on stage but is hardly noticed, recieves a small round of applause. Arguing can be heard in the background.
- He walks off stage to zero applouse.
- The people in the club/bar seem to reflect the representation of the song and lyrics.
- The sound from the club/bar can be heard whilst he is performing, makes it seem as if the song is being played live.
AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long (2012 Version)
- Perfomance based like a lot of AC/DC's videos.
- The video does not match with the lyrics of the song.
- The song is fast paced and this is shown in the music video. - The band members in the video are wearing their typical clothing that they would wear for most of their concerts.
- Fans are seen wearing red, flashing devil hornes.
- Similar shots and camera angles are used.
- Repetition of the colour red, the 'AC/DC' logo, the devil horns and the shots on the lead singer.
Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop
- Goes from Hannah Montana to MIley Cyrus - new identity.
- Representation of a typical US party.
- Aimed at younger people in an attempt to make the video 'viral'.
- "Doing whatver we want".
- Reference to drug usage - 'Molly'.
- Directed by Diane Martel.
- "We run things they don't run me!."
- Actors in the video make up the people at the party that is spoken about in the song.
- Video show Miley Cyrus in several types of clothing (or lack of clothing).
- A lot of symbolism in the video.
- Miley Cyrus is in the video.
1975 - The City
- The whole video is in black and white = Monochrome.
- Directed by Tim Mattia.
- Mixture of narrative and performance.
- 'The song is about finding your place in whatever city you're from'.
- The lyrics go with the video.
- No background, it is just black and white.
- At the end of the video there is a shot of each of the bandmembers.
- The 1975 create awareness of the real issues in society for example sexuality.
- Tim Mattia is known for his use of symbolism in his videos.
- Most of the 1975's videos are monochrome.
Kings of Leon - Use Somebody
- Alot of shots are focused on the main singer.
- Some parts are in colour and other parts are in black and white.
- The shot at the beginning is an aerial shot of an illuminated city. This shot refelcts their life style - busy and always on the go.
- Each band member is shown in the video.
